The fucking moron doesn't realize that American consumers are the ones who
are hit, when they have to pay higher prices.

Trump doesn't know one fucking thing about trade and economics. And NO,
Trump is not "doing" anything to produce a strong economy - the economy is
strong *despite* Trump, not because of him.

Trump knows exactly what he is doing. Trump has given tax breaks to the rich, including himself, and he is making up the revenue by taxing the hoi polloi, disguised as tariffs on Chinese imports.

Sure, why not? Meet me at the Jolly Kone hamburger shack in

Correct. He is not a good president. In fact, he is the worst ever.

I have said numerous times that I "get" someone who voted for Trump because
he couldn't abide Clinton, and vice-versa. I don't "get" anyone who voted
for either one in the belief he or she would be a good president. Such
people truly are deplorables, and should not be permitted to vote.

I have also said that Clinton is pretty much as bad a person as Trump. The
only essential difference between them is that she tries to conceal her bad
character, whereas Trump makes his a core element of his personal "brand."

Not by much.

The one very small positive about Trump instead of Hillary is that when he
is gone, it will be relatively easier to undo the harm he has caused.
Clinton would have done much more lasting harm.

Man, regardless of Trump, there should be no money flowing out of US to
China. By paying less you not making America rich, you making China rich.

Bullshit. You don't know anything about trade, either. In addition, you
have no standing, moral or otherwise, to dictate to people from whom they
must buy. If I want to buy foreign made goods, that's no fucking business
of yours or Trump's.

Trade makes consumers better off. If it didn't, they wouldn't engage in it.

Tell us about how that works out when the two major candidates
are Hiliary and Trump, and one of them has a solid majority in

decided to vote for independent Evan McMullin - who got 20% of

that would really send a message to both major parties that
some changes were needed. Unfortunately, Utah now has people

I'm all in favor of getting rid of a two-party system but I don't see
it happening with the current two parties - as entrenched as they are.

A political party is in direct opposition to a democratic system of
government. The idiot career politicians derive most of their money
and campaign support from the party, so they satisfy the party first
when considering bills.

If anything, all of the so-called campaign finance reform has only
strengthened the position of the political party - aided and abetted
by the idiots on the Supreme Court.
