An attorney for Nicky Diaz Santillan, the former housekeeper of
California Republican Gubernatorial Candidate Meg Whitman, claimed
today that Whitman was aware of Santillan's status as an illegal
immigrant and fired the housekeeper when she asked for help.

The attorney, Gloria Allred, said she was filing a claim for lost
wages that are due to Santillan. The two women appeared at a press
conference where Santillan tearfully discussed the allegations

Allred described the housekeeper's nine years working for Whitman as a
"nightmare." She suggested Santillan was "exploited, disrespected,
humiliated and emotionally and financially abused" by the Whitman
family, which asked her to work longer than the 15 hours per week for
which she was paid.

"She alleges that Ms. Whitman was aware of her status, and may have
understood that she was vulnerable because of it," Allred said. Allred
also suggested Whitman was engaged in a game of "don't ask, don't
tell" to "exploit her while pretending that she didn't know the truth
about her status."

It was, Allred said, "cold and heartless treatment of a hardworking
Latina."

The Maid lied on the employment forms....

And Whitman has NO responsibility to an employee that robs a bank just
as she has no responsibility to a MAID that broke IRS laws.

Gloria Allred Unveils Letter Allegedly Showing Meg Whitman Knew of
Housekeeper's Status

http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-503544_162-20018203-503544.html

Attorney Gloria Allred today unveiled a letter she says was sent to
Meg Whitman and her husband from the Social Security Administration,
indicating that their housekeeper's Social Security number did not
match her name, with notes on the letter allegedly from Whitman's
husband -- proving that Whitman and her husband saw the letter and
should have known their housekeeper was an undocumented worker.

Why didn't the IRS arrest the maid for identity theft or forging FEDERAL
documents? If the police don't care, what can Meg Whitman do to the
maid, obviously the IRS was already notified and didn't care.

Lets ask Obama and Bush why they didn't enforce the laws that they knew
the maid was violating?

How laughable. You have proven nothing against Whitman (in fact,
Whitman comes out smelling like a rose for doing the right thing), but
you have proven that left-wing opportunist Allred is harboring an
illegal alien who should be in jail or deported and Allred should be
investigated for crimes and attorney ethics violations for harboring
her and using her illegal status to disrupt a state election.

Treating people "like shit" when you find that they've broken the law?
The state does that all the time, for example when it throws them in
prison or executes them.

Feel free to make up your own truth as you see fit. Diaz lied, Period.
Diaz and the employment agency that approved her are responsible.
Whitman is the victim.
Keep pushing this and see what happens when we connect Allred with
Jerry Brown. It's no coincidence that the SEIU already had a Spanish-
language advert ready for air when this story broke.

"If Nicky Diaz was fired in June of 2009 when she finally told Whitman
she was illegal, why is she is just coming forward NOW with her
complaints? If conditions were so terrible working for Whitman, why
did she stay there 9 years? How did Nicky find Gloria Allred and who
is paying for Allred’s doughty fees? Allred denies any connection
to Democrat Jerry Brown but is a long-time Democratic supporter."

Ah, Gloria, Gloria, Gloria. Allread was the same twat who, right
before the LAST Gubernatorial election, found ANOTHER woman who was
sorely used by the Republican candidate. Remember the "Gropenator"?
Arnold was a sexual predator and rapist?

The story came out on Dirty Trick Thursday?

What happened to that woman?

Oh, right. She got a summery judgment and the case was kicked out of
court.

You guys are pathetic.

Oh and lookie here:

http://ww2.cox.com/myconnection/arizona/today/news/politics/article.cox?moduleType=apNews&articleId=D9IICC482

The timing of the allegations, the lack of documentation to support
the claims and Allred's Democratic ties left her open to questions
about motive in the dead-heat race. Allred once gave money to
Whitman's opponent, Democrat Jerry Brown, was she was a Hillary Rodham
Clinton delegate at the Democratic National Convention in 2008.

Nice. How about this, from the same article, little tidbit about
criminal alien's pay:

Whitman said she was not aware the housekeeper was in the U.S.
illegally until the woman volunteered the information in 2009, after
which Whitman fired her. In all, the woman worked for the Whitman
family for nine years, making $23 an hour.

Her campaign released employment applications filled out when the
housekeeper was hired in 2000, including a copy of a Social Security
card and a California driver's license, that indicated the woman was a
legal resident.

So records show Diaz LIED and she was paid $23 FUCKING DOLLARS AN
HOUR.
Cry me a fucking river, you dumb lying overpaid Mexican whore! I'm
sure about 40% of the Obama-era workforce, many of whom are unemployed
or severely underemployed, would love to get their hooks into a $23 an
hour job.

Yes, and you are doing you best to grasp them, but to no avail. This

The story might pick back up if the mainstream press (against all odds

She was (apparently) employing someone who was in the country illegally,
had forged documents and lied about her status, who she fired.

It's interesting that according to the cited article, the firing took
place in 2009. Strange that we're just hearing about it now.

Chicano is the combination of chico (boy) and Mexicano. It has often
been used as derogatory term, like when Albertson used it towards
Freddy Prinze.
One would think an "enlightened" left-winger (oxymoron

Of course. You progressives do it before(and after)every election.
S.O.P. What's next?? Hanging chads? Selected not elected? Hacked
electronic voting machines? Disenfranchised voters? I know the
progressives already have hundreds of attorneys on retainer to file
suit against any and every conservative that wins this election.
Nothing ever changes. You kooks go by the same Alinsky playbook every
election. Only this time the American people have finally awalkened
and realised how dangerous you moonbats really are. C-ya in

It's illegal to break into this country without going through the
proper procedures to enter legally. And it's also against the law to
steal someone's social security number. The invader may not be a
"convict" yet but she should be. Would you be so uncaring if the
invader was using YOUR social security number??

or Using his SS number to open a new line of credit to buy a 60 inch
plasma screen and more.

Meg Whitman's Maid was on the lamb.... hiding out from the Feds with
fake identification and could have been a child molester or child killer
wanted and running up from Mexico.

Meg Whitman was luck to get that psycho Maid from hell out of the house
before the Maid went Charlie Manson on Meg's whole family.

So cold and heartless that the hardworking Latina preferred Whitman's abuse
rather than returning to Mexico.

What is it about Mexico that its citizens risk their lives crossing deadly
rivers and deserts to work as virtual slaves in the USA rather than remain in
their own country?

Of course, you'll claim that Peter's the one who looks like a fool for
blowing you and NS out of the water. But anyone with a brain will
know otherwise, just as they do when I kick your ass on a daily basis,

Was it enough evidence to fire the maid, or would it be discriminating
against an illegal alien, there was no absolute proof/fact stating that
the maid was being charged or found guilty of the crime of being an
illegal immigrant and illegally working in the USA.

Without the FEDERAL courts finding her guilty, then Meg Whitman would
have been opening herself up for a lawsuit from Gloria Aldridge.

It is a Federal law and certainly the Federal courts would pursue
illegal activity that violates FEDERAL LAW.

I'm sure that if Meg is guilty then the Maid is guilty and Meg Whitman
will be fined and the Maid will then have to be DEPORTED.

Gloria Aldridge has screwed her client... really screwed her.

Anyone who would retain Gloria Aldridge after this blunder is either
stupid or a dyed in the wool Liberal, but then that was redundant wasn't
it, Liberals are stupid.

*Jerry (Moonbeam) Brown's desperation is growing*

Who is responsible for determining which people are Illegally in the
United States?

Obama just sued Arizona saying that "ONLY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT CAN
DETERMINE" who is illegally here. No one else has the authority to ask
for papers "only the Federal government" can do that without profiling
and violating the civil rights of the maid, so Obama is the one that
needs to catch the maids because it's all Obama's JOB and Obama says
it's ALL Obama's job.

Meg Whitman *Honored the maids civil rights* and waited for the maid to
confess she wasn't in the USA legally. Meg Whitman was a DAMN GENIUS
who got the illegal to confess.

Imagine if Meg Whitman had stopped her own car on the way to get ice
cream and asked the MAID for her papers.....

Why it would have been *ALL OF OBAMA'S FEARS COME TRUE* , civil rights
violations running ramped, the inhumanity of it all.

Thank GOD *MEG WHITMAN DID THE RIGHT THING*

From todays San Fran Chronicle:

Whether or not Republican gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman received
a letter from the Social Security Administration saying her former
housekeeper's false documents did not match its records, Whitman did
not act unlawfully by keeping the housekeeper employed, immigration
lawyers said Thursday.

In fact, had she gone ahead and fired Nicandra Diaz Santillan based on
such a letter, she would have exposed herself to potential anti-
discrimination violations, lawyers said.

Whitman says she wasn't aware of receiving a "no-match" letter.

Lawyers said an employer's obligation upon receiving a no-match letter
from the Social Security Administration is to check their own records
for typographical or other errors, inform the employee that the
records do not match and tell the employee to correct them.

"There is no additional legal obligation for an employer to follow up
or respond to SSA with new information," said Gening Liao, a labor and
employment attorney at the National Immigration Law Center in Los
Angeles, which defends immigrants.

SO you admit Peter kicked your ass? Thank you.

ROTFL!

Despite being outspent by 100 to 1, Brown is ahead in the polls.

If that idiot "Brown" gets elected, California deserves the miserable
State death that will befall it.

Brown was a fine governor before and will be a fine governor again.
Whitman doesn't have a clue about how to run a state government.

From the link to the SSA letter you posted in your other insane rant:

"Any employer that uses the information in this letter to justify taking
adverse action against an employee may violate state or federal law and
be subject to legal consequences.
Moreover, this letter makes no statement about your employee's
immigration status."

Not only did you lie, but this time you even provided the proof that you
did.

Now post a 56 line rant replete with misspellings and childish
pseudo-insults instead of just admitting that you were wrong.

The point is, moron, is that her housekeeper's status could easily be
checked once they were informed that something wasn't right.

They were informed, and they didn't check. Most likely because they
didn't care.
