BOBBISH--John. Artist, children's book writer & illustrator
& teacher. John's art reflected the passion & creativity of
a genius. As many have said, "The world has lost a great
artist", and I have lost the most wonderful brother. You
will always live on in my heart & through your brilliant
work & achievements. Love, Sandra Le Flem

According to the website, he died a year ago.

As a part-time seller of used children's books, I didn't
recognize his name....so started searching booksellers'
websites. ABE, addall.com/used, etc.

Two titles turn up in low quantities, among thousands of sellers:

Trail Fever. The Life of a Texas Cowboy (1992)
and
Jolly Bedtime Tales (2007)

No matter how talented you are, it doesn't mean that you
don't have to self-publish to get "in print".

Yes, I see now it's actually under Memoriam. Sorry about
that.

Why be sorry? It was interesting research, and I got to see
some beautiful art.

Hi,

Sandy

-------------------------------------

I'm sorry. I went to the publisher's site, and it said they
self-published.

I did. It was beautiful; that's why, when I found the
publisher promoting self-publishing, it was sad.

I always thought it would be wonderful to be related
to an artist, who left tangible beauty behind. I'm
related to clunkheads like myself.

I would like to add my condolences. I did not know of your brother, but
when I read obituaries of remarkable people, I feel like I miss them, even
though I never knew them. Beautiful art work, btw.

John was very unique. I am truly happy that you appreciate his work.
Funny that you should ask about the music that plays in Taxi Taxi.
John had told me and now I don't recall. I am trying to find out.
Don't give up on your art!
