Hi Everyone.
Just to get you updated about Luis Miguel in Las Vegas. Today Sunday is his
last concert in Circus Maximus. He will be leaving on the 28th of April to
Spain. He is taking his mariachis. The new vocalist's names are Saliss and
Yuniek, they are two beatuiful black girls from Puerto Rico and show their
energy every time they sing. His new guitarrist is Todd Robinson , he is great
and so is the rest of the band.
There are rumors about Micky coming back here in Las Vegas on September,
nothing confirmed yet, but I heard that the tour Romances "Could" fiinish in
Spain.
A big woman climed up the stage yesterday and threw Micky down on the stage,
and another one climbed up and started dancing in front of Micky showing her
behind to us Showing . That was disgusting, for all of us and Micky, we could
see his face "Horrified" The worst thing was that she was wearing jeans size
48...And some other woman threw her bra, they were also big, believe me.

thanks for the info on the fans at the concert...made it sound different and
fun although not everybody thinks a size 48 is disgusting. I'm glad she stormed
the stage...
but your facts on the sigers are wrong...the names are wrong and their race and
nationality is wrong...hearsay does not equal fact..

Thank you msmf for your reply to the very tasteless remark about the woman in
the size 48 jeans. I was very put off by that comment. I wasn't aware that one
had to be a perfect size 8 to love Luis Miguel...or to display it openly.

I have to say that I would have been disgusted no matter what size
she was wearing. If I pay that kind of money, I want to see LUIS
dancing on the stage, & I don't want someone else in my line of vision!
No one should be on stage blocking other people's view of Luis! That
is totally rude to all who have paid to see him. Not to mention,that
he shouldn't have to get up there & wonder if he is going to be torn
apart or not. I will scream & pull my hair & dance with the rest
of them, maybe even worse than the rest of them(!), but he has the right
to his own personal safety, & I, for one, will not assault el Idolo!
When one person goes TOO FAR, it will cause him to have to beef up
security, creating less chances for those who only wanted to offer
a rose & perhaps feel the touch of his hand when he accepts. - Sandy

Excuse me on this one. JT's spelling of the names may be phonetic since he did
not see the names in writing but received them when introduced to the singers
and the dozen or so times he met with, spoke with, and spent time with them.
If he is wrong on the information THEN he was misinformed by the two lovely
ladies of whom he is speaking. What would you like to say to that? Would you
like to call them liars?
IT WASN'T a matter of SIZE! IT was a matter of appearance and threat! The
girl with the size 48 jeans and t-shirt - yes t-shirt (and the jean size was
greatly underestimated) was absolutely filthy and looked like she spent the
week in a series of barroom brawls. She was not decent enough to be seen in
public! And yes even Luis Miguel fans can be tasteless because THERE ARE
TASTELESS Luis Miguel fans. For Pete's Sake own up to it already! I know if
someone like that tried to force their tongue into my mouth and pull me off
stage I would crack them so hard that ALL there babies would be born dizzy!
And I am sure you would do the same if a man of like appearance attempted to do
that to you.
It was different and it was a lot of fun. So much fun that security was very
very lax until that occurrence and when SHE tried it again she was very
unceremoniously dumped off stage. Luis Miguel was apparently PISSED at that
point turned and EMPHATICALLY directed security's attention towards her. I,
myself, was witness to the flock of guards STORMING to the casino floor after
the concert and heard only what was probably a small part of the tirade that
was being related to them.

Hi Everyone!!!
The Las Vegas shows were great!!!! Now I'm convinced there is only one place on
earth to really experience LuisMi and that is in "Caesar's Palace"!. I went to
three concerts, Thursday, Friday and Sunday nite. I missed the action with the
disgusting woman on stage, but I was close to back stage at the time and I can
tell you that security was definitely paranoid about anyone getting too close
after that happened. I was at the elevator level that they use to exit
backstage and no one was allowed to stay there at all. Everyone had to clear
the area before Luis would exit to the elevator. The security guard told me he
got hurt a little and was very pissed off. By the way, I went into the concert
after it was over on Saturday nite and I saw the woman who had been on stage,
she was absolutely gross! She was still drunk at that point and hugging all
over what I guess was her boyfriend and actually had the gall to brag about all
that she did.
On to better subjects. I got my KISS!!!...Thursday nite I got up on stage and
gave him a kiss on the cheek before security could get there. He was smiling
and very gracious. He really seems to enjoy this type of non-threatening
attention. He doesn't like to be grabbed or kissed on the lips while he is
trying to sing. I also met and talked to Unique and Alice a great deal. They
are really nice. Alice is from Puerto Rico and is dark skinned and beautiful,
but I don't believe is from African American descent. Unique on the other hand
is African American and doesn't speak a word of Spanish, but is so cute. She
said she has no problem singing in Spanish and that was evident as both of them
sounded great. Luis seemed very pleased with their performances as he would
look at them and actually give a thumbs up and a positive nod of his head at
certain points of the concert!
JT and Gerry are right about Todd Robinson also. He was great!. The boleros
were perfectly done and on top of all that I almost thought I had run into my
brother when I saw him up close the first time, they really look alot alike and
get this, my brother is also a classical guitarist who teaches at the
University of Alabama! Todd is originally from Okalahoma and is very nice and
talented.
The only thing I really missed was the Mariachi portion of the concert. I
can't wait for his Mariachi album to be released and I am hoping that the
Mariachi CD will be the basis for the September shows, if that is indeed true
that he is returning to Las Vegas then. If not, I would still go, without
hesitation.
