In four PCs, with Windows XP, 7, 10, 10, in the UK, I have discovered
that Command Prompt CScript JScript new Date() appears to be using US
DST rules rather than EU Summer Time rules during (but not noticed
before) and not after the interval in which US & UK differ as to whether
it is yet Summer. Therefore, it then seems that the clock is an hour
fast.
So, in that interval, for 1/24 of the time, JScript does not even know
which day of the week it is.
Summer Time note for WSOTP :
NA from 2nd Sun Mar to 1st Sun Nov, change at 02:00 local;
EU from last Sun Mar to last Sun Oct, change at 01:00 UTC.
Details in news:comp.lang.javascript, thread "Another JScript date/time
bug, it seems", beginning on 2017-03-20.
