Hi,
I have a sun ultra2 dual 296MHz CPU's and 256 MB ram.
I am running suse linux and have the ircd running.
Can someone please help me with information on configuring the
server (I.E. scripts needed, and bots to keep a couple channels
open at all times.)
This system will only be available within our intranet, with a 2-4
thousand users.
location of where to find this info is fine, unless you have time to
give more info that would be nice also.

www.irchelp.org should come in handy. Also, most ircd's come with an
example.conf file that goes through how to configure it, step by step.

Although if you say you have the ircd running, it sounds like you did a
decent job so far. As for setting up bots, I would recommend
www.eggdrops.com (click the Tutorial link)
