Donald Trump's latest budget has been decried as "morally bankrupt" by
his critics, characterised by tax breaks for the wealthy and cuts to
social welfare programs.

Brian Klaas, a fellow at the University of Oxford, wrote: "Trump
promised to eliminate the federal debt in eight years.

"The latest budget projections say that the debt will instead rise to
$27.8 trillion instead, partly due to Trump's fiscally reckless and
badly thought out tax cut that disproportionately benefits the wealthy."

.

But President Trump's critics are not taxPAYERS, they are lazy worthless crybaby taxTAKERS. They contribute *nothing* to society.  My message to them is get a job and support yourself and stop sponging off the working folks.

The lazy left are the ones who are "morally bankrupt".

What about the bit you snipped?:

"The latest budget projections say that the debt will instead rise to

badly thought out tax cut that disproportionately benefits the wealthy."

It's really very simple.

Productive working people make a great economy.

Lazy unproductive welfare slugs destroy the economy.

Taking money (taxation) from productive working people and giving it to lazy unproductive welfare slugs is "morally bankrupt".

Understand?

I'm a taxpayer and Trump critic. The article is right, it's what I've been
posting here. Trump has cut taxes and increased spending, we will have a
$1 tril deficit next year, the first since the years immediately after the
great recession. There was a reason then, the economy was a disaster.
There is no excuse today.

And what really gets me is that the trumpets insisted that this would not
happen with Trump. We had 16 sane candidates to choose from, they foisted
Trump on us, as the only good one. We were told the others were all no good
Rinos, but the Don is special. So here we are. Deficits out of control
and he just proposed giving citizenship to 2 mil illegals. Way to go trumpets!
And best part is while he pees on your heads, you say it's just raining.

But that's exactly what Trump is doing. He just increased domestic spending
and military spending $400 bil over two years. And Bod is right, he's going
to add almost as much debt as Obama did. Obama came into office when the
great recession had just started, the economy was a disaster, tax revenue
took a hit, we had to cut taxes to help stimulate it and domestic spending
on food stamps, welfare, etc went up because of it. Trump inherited a
sound, growing economy and has no such excuse.

Scandal-hit British charity Oxfam was reeling Tuesday after fresh claims of
sexual assault and rape, this time between aid workers in South Sudan.
Helen Evans, former global head of safeguarding, also warned of assaults on
children volunteering in Oxfam's hundreds of high-street charity shops in
Britain.

She accused senior managers of failing to act, heaping pressure on chief
executive Mark Goldring just hours after his deputy resigned over a scandal
involving aid workers' use of prostitutes in Haiti.
Evans told Channel 4 News of a survey conducted during her 2012-2015 tenure
which exposed a "culture of sexual abuse" in some Oxfam offices.

The survey of 120 staff across three countries found between 11 and 14
percent said they witnessed or experienced sexual assault.

Seven percent of staff in South Sudan - four people - witnessed or
experienced rape or attempted rape involving colleagues.

- Sex for aid -

She said she asked to take her findings to the senior leadership team at
Oxfam, but the meeting was cancelled and Goldring said that discussing the
report would not take things any further.

Later during her tenure, Evans said she received three new allegations in a
single day in February 2015, including one woman forced to have sex for aid.

"There was one of a woman being coerced to have sex in a humanitarian
response by another aid worker, another case where a woman had been coerced
to have sex in exchange for aid, and another one where it had come to our
attention where a member of staff had been struck off for sexual abuse and
hadn't disclosed that," she said.

Evans - now a local councillor in England - said she "struggled" to
understand why senior management did not give her more resources to address
the problem.

In a separate issue, Channel 4 cited figures showing seven incidents of
"inappropriate conduct with children" in Oxfam's shops in 2013/14.

One case involving an adult volunteer assaulting a child - the minimum age
for volunteers is 14 - went to court, Evans said.

Oxfam has been battling accusations it covered up a scandal involving its
aid workers in Haiti, which has put government funding at risk and threatens
its global reputation.

It has denied covering up misconduct allegations against staff members
accused of using prostitutes in Haiti following a devastating 2010
earthquake, but admits it could have been more transparent.

Oxfam deputy chief Penny Lawrence resigned on Monday, saying: "As programme
director at the time, I am ashamed that this happened on my watch and I take
full responsibility."

It's a sad fact that most of these alleged conservatives think that any
tax cut, at any time, is a good thing. When Reagan cut the income tax,
the top rate was 70% and the economy was sucking wind big time.
Trump and the GOP just cut it and the top rate was at 39% with an economy that
was doing OK and with the US already having $600 bil deficits and Trump
advocating more spending.

During the campaign Trump said the US could go bust, negotiate to pay
off our bond holders at less than full value. Sadly, these alleged
conservatives listened to that and insisted he had to be the candidate.
Trump thinks America should go bankrupt just like one of his failed
casinos.
