Well, that newsgroup was working well for a while.
And then it got hit with sex advertising, and instead
of people just ignoring the ads, they complained,
and so the whole thing just got really REDUCED.

As far as I see it
alt.history.what-if
will function just fine, if more posters chose to use it.
