The first two short stories ("Regalia" and "Friendship = Evil")
are just two old jokes that got a new life in the magic land of
Equestria (although the first one may be somewhat obscure.)
I'm not going to give them any description to speak of, as I see
no way for one to be both useful and not a spoiler.

These stories are still very well done.

The "My Little Girl" short novel is, however, a different matter
altogether.

(Did I just let my schedule slip?)

What? Twilight Sparkle surely can prove it!

A story of how one guard once put "his whole career on the line
for only a few precious moments of the utmost thrill and delight."

My Little Girl
by CrackedInkWell (2014-11-25 .. 2014-12-10)

A child awakening from the noise in the middle of the night may
expect to see a monster emerging from under the bed. Or a prank
from one of the siblings. But most certainly not a living,
talking pegasus.

Now, a tunnel under her bed may not be as comfortable as, say, a
wardrobe would've been, but still, one Lauren Faust, a 12 year
old girl in whose bedroom the unfortunate royal guard happened
to appear, is determined to find out what lies on its other side.

One might've expected to see such stories a dime a dozen on
Fimfiction, yet somehow, it doesn't seem to be the case. Not to
mention that this story appear to be have been very well
received by the readers.

This story's bane, I believe, is the language -- spelling and
grammar mistakes, as well as unfortunate wording -- it takes
some determination on the part of the reader to wade through
them all. (See the CuddlestheChangeling comment, for instance.)
Nevertheless, I've found the story itself quite captivating.

PS. I've listened to (among others) Dragons of the South by Carbon
Maestro, Winterglade and Deae Lunae by Makkon, Heartmender
(as performed by Aviators), My Cadence (as performed by
4everfreebrony), In Her Stead by Bagpipe Brony, while writing
this one. All on http://lunaloves.us/, of course.
