At the risk of sounding blasphemous in this group, I'd have to say these are
some of the people whose appeal I never quite got:
Scott Baio
David Cassidy
Leif Garrett (not an actor, but still a 70s cover boy)
David Hasselhoff
John Travolta
I know there are more out there, but those are the ones that came to me
immediately.
Liz
Never quite got Angelina Jolie, though.

She's actually really generic looking, nothing about her is remarkable.
I'm not a guy so I don't care what she looks like in nude scenes, although
I like her husky voice. ANd she's not a terribly good actress either!

Cassidy's not bad, but I don't understand the other three's appeal, either.

I agree about Madonna here. Every time I thinkof her all I can think of is
hair. As in WAY to much of it where it shouldn't be. But as for the WORST
teeth of a celeb, that title would HAVE to go to Joe Bonsall. He's the lead
singer of The Oak Ridge Boys. See what I mean here

Billy (I have always wondered tho if he never got them fixed cos he was

Wow, tastes *do* differ. I think she's gorgeous and incredibly sexy
just standing there--and when she opens her mouth, she gets better.
Now, Julia Roberts, she's someone whose appeal just altogether escapes
me. She always looks like she's been crying--red nose, bleary
eyes...not at ALL an attractive look.

That's supposedly why Barbra Streisand never got a nose job. It's said
that she talked to a surgeon back when she was first getting started in
showbiz, but they couldn't guarantee it wouldn't affect her voice. She
wisely opted to keep the oddball nose and the world-class voice.

This is a brutal bunch, isn't it? I've seen some gorgeous women (Helen Hunt,
Penelope Cruz) just savaged here. Next thing you know some smartass will try

No kidding! I mean, you can say that someone doesn't appeal to you but to
call people mean names? That's a tad much for me. As for SJP, my thoughts
are this: Yeah, she's not gorgeous in the most popular way, but I must say
that she really seems like a class act to me. She comes from a very humble
background and she takes care of her looks and has tremendous style. I also
understand that she is a really nice person. As for her nose, hey, who can
help what they're born with?? I have auburn/copperish hair, green eyes and
freckles (a lot of them!!). I had no choice. I am also fighting a weight
problem, one that I hope to conquer. What gets me is people like Anna
Nicole Smith!! That woman wouldn't know class if it ran over her! She is
the epitomy of slovenly behavior, IMO.
I've seen some gorgeous women (Helen Hunt,

My only comment here is about Cruz. I have nothing against her looks, but
her acting is horrible!!! She also needs some serious voice lessons....dogs
howl when she speaks!

Oh you charmer you! Well, Since you have put a positive spin on this, I'll
play. I'll put a small list of women and men that I find attractive...I'm
sure I will forget some, but this is what comes up off the top of my head.
Women:
Rita Hayworth
Catherine Zeta Jones
Jennifer Lopez
Lena Olin
Natalie Portman
Diana Rigg (Emma Peel days)
Rebecca Romijn-Stamos
Veronica Lake
Men: (a little more up my alley)
Cary Grant (in the 1940's particularly)
Sean Connery (post 007 days)
Pierce Brosnan
George Clooney
John Cusack
Ben Affleck
Ewan McGregor
Liam Neeson
Antonio Banderas
Robert Deniro (not sure why)
Harrison Ford (about 20 years ago...hey, I had a thing for Han Solo!)
Johnny Depp (see the movie Chocolat...<g>)
Mel Gibson (Mad Max time period)
Cary Elwes
Russell Crow

Madonna knows how FLIRT, that's what ;-) She knows that she's not the most

Hmmmmm...where to start?
Grace Slick (if just for her voice alone...when I hear her sing I feel
it right down into my naughty bits)
Susan Sarandon (as already discussed)
Camryn Manheim (smart, sexy, self-assured, and unrepentantly fat...if I
can't have her, I want to *be* her)
Salma Hayek (even with her Frida Kahlo facial hair)
Halle Berry (gorgeous, smart, *and* talented)
Vanessa Redgrave (gorgeous, smart, talented, *and* WAY left)
Gene Tierney (The Ghost and Mrs. Muir is one of my very favorite movies,
and she was magnificent in it)
Kathryn Hepburn (that face...that voice...that "I-could-give-a-damn"
attitude...)
Mia Tyler (Steve's better-looking daughter...I had to come up with
*someone* under 30!)
John Rhys-Davies (but I preferred his look in Raiders of the Lost Ark,
or Sliders, to the one he has in Lord of the Rings...nice axe, though)
Jerry Garcia (what a smile...)
John Goodman (do you get the idea I like 'em big and beefy?)
Elijah Wood (...but not exclusively)
Sean Connery (definitely against my better judgement--he's an
unrepentant misogynist pig--but fun to watch, I can't deny)
Armand Assante (in Belizaire the Cajun he had me positively swoony)
Tony (my husband--you didn't think I was going to leave him off the
list, did you?)
Garry (my boyfriend--ditto)

I think Matthew Broderick is alright...maybe not Ben Affleck, but not
unattractive.

She's just another lollipop girl, IMO...a big head with a skinny, size 1
body. I mean, how do these people (SMG, Calista Flockhart, Jennifer
Love-Hewitt...) not fall over is beyond me! ;-)

She was on the cover of TV Guide a few weeks ago. My copy (I subscribe)
ended up mixed in with a pile of papers for a few weeks. This week, I was
moving the pile and the TV Guide was peeking out. After two days of seeing
her satanic looking grin, upside down, I finally pulled the issue and threw
it away.
No wonder I was having nightmares this week.....

Maybe that's why she annoys me! I used to watch AMC when she was on. Also,
her nasal voice makes my skin crawl...to me, she always sounds like she
needs to blow her nose! ;-)

I was really annoyed when she was the one chosen to portray Audrey Hepburn!
She doesn't even come close, IMO.

Funny, when I see her I still see the little girl from the Burger King
commercial...
