Cindy McCain (nee Hensley) was born to Jim Hensley, a protégée of
Kemper Marley. This guy called himself a politician, but he was really
a gangster.
Car Bomb
In 1976 a crusading Phoenix reporter, Don Bolles, was murdered by a
car-bomb after writing a series of stories exposing the organized
crime connections of well-known figures in Arizona, including one Jim
Hensley
What Race is She?
The Hensleys were probably Jewish.
McCain Marries Into Money
The Hensley fortune that financed McCain's rise to power.
The Hensley fortune, in fact, is a regional offshoot of the big time
boot-legging and rackets empire of the Bronfman dynasty of Canada,
founded by Sam Bronfman, an early partner of Meyer Lansky, longtime
"chairman of the board" of the international crime syndicate.
Hensley's Mob Connections
McCain's father-in-law got his start as a top henchman of one Kemper
Marley, who, for some forty years until his death in 1990 at age 84,
was the undisputed behind-the-scenes political boss of Arizona. But
Marley was much more: he was also the protege' of Lansky's longtime
lieutenant, Phoenix gambler Gus Greenbaum.
Mayer Lansky
In 1941, Greenbaum was a book-maker. In 1946, Greenbaum turned over
the day-to-day operations to Marley while Greenbaum focused on
building up Lansky-run casinos in Las Vegas, commuting there from his
home in Phoenix.
Greenbaum, in fact, was so integral to the Lansky empire that he was
the one who took command of Lansky's Las Vegas interests in 1947 after
Lansky ordered the execution of his own longtime friend, Benjamin
"Bugsy" Siegel, for skimming profits from the new Flamingo Casino
Hensley Served Time
During this time Marley was building up a liquor distribution monopoly
in Arizona. The truth is, that it was the Bronfman family that set
Marley up in business. However, in 1948, some 52 of Marley's employees
(including Jim Hensley) went to jail on federal liquor violations—but
not Marley.
Hensley Becomes Wealthy
The story in Arizona is that Hensley took the fall for Marley. Upon
Hensley's release from prison, Marley paid Hensley back by setting him
up in the beer business. That company today, said to be worth $200
million, financed McCain's career. And without Marley's political
support, McCain could have never even gotten elected dog-catcher
The Notorious Jacobs Family
Hensley had a dog track operation connected to the the Buffalo-based
Jacobs family.
The Jacobs were the leading distributors for Bronfman liquor into the
United States during Prohibition into the hands of local gangs that
were part of the Lansky syndicate. Expanding over the years, the
family's enterprises were once described as being "probably the
biggest quasi-legitimate cover for organized crime's money-laundering
in the United States."
What Does It All Mean?
Bronfman, Irving Greenbaum, Abe Jacobs, Bennie Siegel, Meyer Lansky,
are all Zionists. Somehow I doubt that they took some Irish Mick named
Hensley, and gave him a lucrative beer distributorship. McCain is not
only a war- monger but he has a Zionist wife.

Meyer Lanskey was never Bronfman's partner.
One should never judge a person by their looks. And I don't judge her
because she looks like some alien from the X Files. Despite her being a
pill head she may be a genuinely nice person. It's her husband who is
running for president and needs to be judged by his background and
character. While the Obama resume may be thin, McCain's is fat and thick
with disaster and ineptitude. A careful review of the life of John
McCain should make people run screaming from the room at the thought of
his becoming president after the eight year debacle of the Bush
administration. Gen Clark was right when he said that being shot down and
becoming a Prisoner of War does not qualify you to be president. McCain
has suggested a future for the US that is a never ending war. What he
doesn't realize is that we do not have the resource to do it. Bush has
squanderd most of our capital on his Baghdad folly. McCain wants to
extend our military and our treasure to take on the world with military
force rather than diplomacy and solidarity with our allies. Maybe he's
still pissed that he was a POW and is going to take out his frustrations
on the world. I don't know. But I do know that I'd rather take a chance
on Obama and try to turn things around and put America first rather than
sell out to the multinationals who run this country through the K street
lobby machine.
Isn't she that chick that McCain tried to get in the topless contest

Nice you admit that you recognized who I was describing. Must of been a
pretty accurate description.
The changes around prohibition had to do with the Bronfman
distribution problems. Lansky was the go to man in US.
> >founded by Sam Bronfman, an early partner of Meyer Lansky
Check out the prohibition years. I think I read a Bronfman agent had
to make a deal and admit 50% of prohibition alcohol to US was from
them. After prohibition there were changes. The Bronfman's branched
out to sports and games?
According to this Meyer Lansky Interview, he had no money and was
innocent. That was his story, does that make it true?
Would he say who the syndicate worked with during prohibition?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1UNJTPtmZhI
I think Lansky had to leave Israel soon after this.

This Bud's for John
John McCain's family
By John Dougherty, Amy Silverman
Published on March 02, 2000

EXCERPTS:
Both McCain and Hensley declined to be interviewed for this column.
But the public record provides a glimpse into Hensley's history and
how McCain has benefited from it -- and how Hensley, in turn, benefits
from McCain's powerful post as chairman of the Senate Commerce
Committee, where the champion of reform in the tobacco and campaign
finance areas has virtually turned his back on another subject in need
of attention: alcohol regulation.
According to the Albuquerque Journal, the Hensleys misled the racing
commission by concealing the fact that a notorious Phoenix bookie --
Clareance "Teak" Baldwin -- held a one-third ownership in the race
track. The commission asked the New Mexico State Police to
investigate; the probe linked Baldwin to the Hensley's old liquor
partner, Kemper Marley. A report from the 1953 probe noted that Marley
financed Phoenix gambling operations and that Marley owned "a wire
service formerly operated in connection with bookmaking of the Al
Capone gang."
James Hensley controls nearly all of the voting stock, and most of the
rest of the closely held shares in the firm are placed in trusts for
his grandchildren or owned by his daughter, 45-year-old Cindy Hensley
McCain, wife of U.S. Senator and presidential hopeful John McCain.
McCain was considered an outsider to many rank-and-file Republicans in
the conservative First District, which had been left open by retiring
House Minority Leader John Rhodes. McCain benefited not only from
Hensley money, but also from his father-in-law's friendship with
Darrow Duke Tully, the publisher of the largest daily newspaper in the
state. Tully was enamored with McCain's military record and gave
McCain copious free space on the editorial pages of the defunct
Phoenix Gazette and an entrée to the power structure in Phoenix.
Yet McCain has relied heavily on the financial contributions from big
corporate donors -- with the liquor and beer industry near the top of
the list. McCain won -- one could say bought -- his first election to
the House of Representatives in 1982 with lavish sums of Hensley beer
money.
James Hensley wasn't just giving McCain money just because he was his
son-in-law. In a rare 1988 interview, James Hensley gave a glimpse of
his political savvy.
"The neo-prohibitionists are real active about trying to dry us up all
the time," he told the Phoenix Business Journal. "They're a constant
battle. They're going after us in different ways now than they did in
those days, trying to ban advertising, things like that ... We're
legislatively involved very heavily ... It's a way of life to protect
our industry."
Since 1982, Hensley & Company employees have donated almost $200,000
to federal political candidates and campaigns.
But there is one area where it is unlikely that John McCain will ever
emerge as a champion of reform: alcohol.

Oh, she's just a terrible person!
The Bronfman's are secondary re: Kemper Marley. If I come across what
I read about Bronfman's I'll let you know. As I recall also one of the
sons was in court and gaming operations were documented. If you want
to believe Bronfman's didn't "distribute" during prohibition, or they
weren't into gaming or old England never "distributed" opium... that's
fine, it's very old history.
[Canada had a prohibition prior to US] History of Bronfmans makes for

This isn't the account I read, but it might answer some of your
questions. What I was reading was dry detailed records, I don't recall
specifics.
The account I read was plausible. You aren't presenting references
either way. The writer I read had substance that made sense, but I
didn't do follow up. I don't have the cases, I can only say the little
I recall. It sounded like the Bronfmans had a rackets empire, other
history accounts back that up.
The Bronfman's company was in court with US, to do with prohibition
laws, that was when an "agent" representing Bronfman holdings signed a
deal to admit to 50% of alcohol distributed in US. It was illegal at
the time, the US got money from fines? Yes, they were distillers and
they distributed. Large corporations often branch out into other
business. It's not illegal in itself to buy a team, concessions, race
tracks et al. Illegal activity can happen in those businesses also.
What gets on record is through depositions, hearings, court,
investigative journalism et al.
I didn't do research on Bronfmans. But what's unusual about keeping
their business going during prohibition?
The Bronfmans can be irrevelant as far as I'm concerned for the Meyer
Lansky history.
Here's the video of Meyer Lansky, he says he had no money and did no
wrong. You can believe his PR or not.

It is still in her portfolio. She has other beach property, perhaps
the family beach house is sentimental.
She must have memories of family time in La Jolla. If Americans are to

If she continues to leave out significant parts of her life, she'll

In an interview with NPR News' All Things Considered last week,
Portalski said she felt "like a non-person" after Cindy McCain
described herself as an "only child."
Portalski's mother is Hensley's first wife; Cindy McCain's mother,
Marguerite Hensley, also had another daughter from her first marriage.
"She's kinda cool, standoffish," Portalski tells Us of her half
sister.
Portalski also doesn't expect Cindy McCain to make an effort to
reconcile their relationship.
"She never has, and I doubt that she ever will," she tells Us.

“The suspicion arises that someone in the United States especially
created this conflict with the aim of making the situation more tense
and creating a competitive advantage for one of the candidates
fighting for the post of US President.”
Mr Putin said that his defence officials had told him that Americans
were operating in the conflict zone in Georgia during the fighting.
He added: “It should be admitted that they would do so only following
direct orders from their leaders. Therefore, they were acting in
implementing those orders, doing as they were ordered, and the only
one who can give such orders is their leader.”
Mr Putin did not name Mr Bush directly but the White House swiftly
denounced his allegations, made during an interview with CNN. His
comments were also broadcast on Russian television, which had been
circulating a similar conspiracy theory last week.
By lending his authority to the claims, Mr Putin has raised tensions
with the US to a new level just days before Dick Cheney, the US Vice
President, is due to arrive in Georgia to show support for its pro-
Western leader Mikheil Saakashvili.

FINALLY!!!!! The press has started digging into the connections of
the Arizona political machine. Growing up in Arizona in the '50s and
'60s, if you paid attention, you came to realize that not all "mob"
members' names ended in a vowel. I came to the opinion that the Bonano
family could never had such a protected status if it hadn't been
working in conjuction with the political, land grabbing machine. Land
grabbing was what Don Bolles was investigating when he met with his
explosive fate. Before that there was the demise of Gus Greenbaum and
Willie Bioff, both of which had duel connetions with the Chicago mob
and the Arizona political elite. A political elite that included the
