I should have gone there months ago, before this COVID shit hit the fan.
Now I'm stuck in the shittiest "developed" country on Earth, in one of its
shittier red states, during a pandemic, and now with nobody to vote for.

Fuck this place and fuck everything and fuck all of you too. Except kensi.
Though I'm jealous of her getting the fuck out while the getting was good.

Well at least I'll have front row seats to watch it all fucking burn.

Fuck kensi, she's a bad influence on you.

Even Yours Truly was intelligent enough to buy a log
cabin way back in the mountains where I'm safe, secure
and comfy. And, I did so because I foresaw the shit hitting
the fan. It doesn't take a rocket surgeon.

>Well at least I'll have front row seats to watch it all fucking burn.

You'll be better off if you change your sour attitude of defeat.
We tried to tell you Bernie was a waste of space but you just
wouldn't listen. What's WRONG with you? If you associate with
losers you'll end up being dragged down by them.

Those of us who support the President actually are getting
tired of winning - or perhaps a better way to say it's come
to the point where our winning is just routine.

LOL-TO-THE-MAX! Let's face it, Nads... you're stupid. I've been telling
you that for years but you never listened. Bernie never had a shot in the
Demotardic Party. You were perfectly okay with all the shady and illegal
shit they've been pulling on Trump, so what made you think they wouldn't
treat Bernie the same way, just like they did four years ago?

Think about it... they chose a senile old bumbling and corrupt fool over
Bernie. They would have chosen a corpse over Bernie. That's the
"party" you chose to run with. There's nothing "Democratic" about it, is
there? You can admit that now that all your hopes and dreams have been
crushed and you're at the height of your butthurt.

As for New Zealand, don't consider that a missed opportunity. As I've
also been telling you for at least a year now, New Zealand never would
have let you in. You couldn't afford the entry fee, and you wouldn't have
passed the vetting process with your politics.

You're young... you'll get over it. Are you still employed?

I own her, so I know what she's worth.

Have you left a KooK rant yet about the Bernie Bummer, or will that be
coming later? Nadegda's was quite amusing, but her Libtard sock left a
wall o' screed that would rival our beautiful new southern border wall.
I've archived both of them, of course, and will take them out to amuse
everyone occasionally. Both KooKs earned themselves shiny new Checkys
(tm) of course. Here's your opportunity to potentially earn one yourself,
although I realize you're forte is more of a copy-and-paste nature.

My cabin is located in a forest on a ridge about halfway
up the ridge.

When the leaves are on the trees I can't see anything
but greenery 360 degrees around. Can't see any other
houses. In the winter I can see a handful of houses
up along the two-lane road to town which is a couple
miles away.

Checked ... and yes you are correct. Oz decided to ignore Dr.WHO
even sooner than the USA and closed off borders and started
isolation programs pretty quickly thereafter (though they have been
having issues getting public cooperation). Still, best to avoid
the big cities, the mortality rate is not THAT great either, though
drastically better than NYC, the UK, Italy or Spain. The UK is
looking *bad* now ... around 10% mortality ... and they do not
really seem to know why.

One weird side effect though in Oz, the slow creep of the
virus means they will not get over the infection hump for a
lot longer than many other countries. Some are projecting
October.

Only plus is that within a few more weeks the arsenal of
treatment drugs/methods will have improved considerably.
MIGHT even be some kind of vaccine by June if the preliminary
tests look good enough. The slow track for such things is just
not viable under the circumstances. I am less concerned with
toxicity, esp with the mRNA vaccines, but with efficiency. The
question is "how good is good ENOUGH ?". 80% ? 50% ?
Even 50% might produce enough "herd immunity" to render
the virus extinct in a few weeks.

Oh I saw humor is not quite extinct yet ... there was a photo of
some guy who came to a market in NZ - dressed to the hilt in
Sir Lancelot shining armor ... with a little face mask too :-)

**Yep. HOWEVER, the latest information suggests that those who were
previously infected, can become re-infected. YIKES! This adds an extra
dimension of difficulty to the development of a vaccine. One may never
be developed, if this latest data is correct.

India cannot hope to look after it's entire population. 100 Years? Don't
be too sure. Look at China.

Neat. From earlier comments you made it sounded like
warmer / decent weather arrived for at least a month ago.
Good Deal.

Here, north of Seattle, we had our first lovely day
that topped 60 degrees since last Sept. or Oct. Nice.

Yes, here in western North Carolina it was 80 yesterday.
The last two weeks in March were nice and warm.

But, a cold front has come through and we are now on
the colder back side. It's 45 outside now and is supposed
to go down to 35 tonight but in about three days it is
supposed to warm back up into the seventies but still
with cooler nights.

They DID finally remember what they had learned from SARS,
that it is not the virus that kills you but your own immune system
over-reacting.

Some areas on viruses tend to be "conserved" - ie do not mutate.
They have already identified a couple of those on C19 and I think
some of the vaccine candidates target that, maybe plus the more
variable bits.

Plan B is coming together now. I've just snapped up a nice little 8-acre
plot about 40 miles out of Seattle that has a nice LEEDS-certified passive
thermal house set back comfortably far from the highway. I've also taken on
a small bit of debt but as soon as the old place in Arizona sells I'll be
in the black again, though it will still have set me back about a hundred
grand on net. And once that continent-sized crackup commences I'll be on
the non-shitty side of the New Iron Curtain, where public investment is a
thing and so is ongoing COVID containment, and not in the shitty Union of
Christian Theocratic White Sharia States, whose economic downdraft will
soon have attained hurricane force and where the virus will be unleashed by
the regressive "save the economy" fools.

I can also continue in remote work on my current job right through the move
if need be, but I'm also cultivating potential new job options more
locally. I hear Microsoft needs more testers ...

You stupid twaught. If any of this BS is true (highly unlikely), you
bought near the top, and you'll be stuck with your desert shitshack as the
prices continue to drop. You'll be upside down on both of them and
eventually homeless. On the bright side, you can always blame it all on
Trump. I'll be buying more real estate myself, but not for a year or two
when prices are half of what they are now. When you get foreclosed on in
Washington give me a heads-up. Maybe I'll take it off your hands if your
lender agrees to a short sale... which they'll probably have to do.

Time to trigger the right-wing snowflakes again. Melt, snowflakes, melt!
Unlikely, but my shit-dar is telling me that Arizona is about to be an
*exceptionally* bad place to be, roughly on a par with sub-Saharan Africa.

Meanwhile I already have offers on the Arizona place. If I take the current
highest I'm down a chunk but not in debt. Turns out there's a lot of
deka-millionaires in the Southwest who love low taxes more than they do
civilization, and every so often some lucky slot machine or blackjack
hand in Vegas mints up a new one. Then you've got your wanna-be cowboys
who think all they need is a house on a decent chunk of land in the old
west, your reclusive zillionaire tech moguls who think the middle of
nowhere is the best place to set up a SHTF bunker (self-fulfilling
prophecy?), and your usual bevy of land speculators and foreign
gazillionaires who have a shall-we-say "optimistic" view of where things
are headed. A lot of them seem to be avid FOX watchers and Trump voters,
oddly enough ...
