I tried to download this book from both of the links you provided, but they
are T files, that requires me to download some kind of player. Darn, why
can't they just put this file in a simple .pdf like the John Bolton book? I
even tried to convert the files, but that did not work either. <sigh>

Nothing like making life more complicated, so they can sell more computers

I meant software. I have a pinched nerve in my neck, haven't really slept
in two days. I guess I should go to the chiropractor, so I can get covid.

Yer a farkin' wreck. You should go to the gym, FFS!
I've been up on a ladder sealing my fascia boards
using Natural Cedar Thompson's Waterseal. And,
it's in the mid 80's out there and hotter in the direct
sun. I don't have any steekin' pinched nerves.

You try moving the ladder every three feet,
stabilizing it so it's not going to slide and fall,
then climbing up and down, up and down, up
and down.

It IS hard work.

Liar. Digital irony meters don't exist. The only
way irony meters can work is if they are analog
meters.

I dunno. If, for some reason, I thought a WC spring would be 'zackly
the right thing, I wouldn't throw the idea out.

Toughness depends on grain size and how much binder (cobalt) what's in
there. Also, there are some China people working on tough binderless WC
processes because cobalt's expensive and sometimes in short supply
because the US hogs it.

I think we have too much rain around here for the
forest to get dry enough to burn. I see zero evidence
that any trees ever burned during my walks. I do see
some pretty large trees downed probably from a
tornado. One area has half a dozen and they all
fell the same direction but from the degree of rot
I'd guess it happened more than a decade ago.

I prefer reading to having it read to me, it's easier to concentrate.
It was this link; the PDF is still there at the moment:

They're pdf files. Winbloze don't read the header and tell you that.

If you had a real O/S it would read this and tell you:

%PDF-1.4
%10
obj
<<
/Author(þy Mary L. Trump;)
/CreationDate(D:20200713081112+00'00')
/Creator(þy calibre\(4.18.0\)[http://calibre-ebook.com])

/Producer(þy calibre\(4.18.0\)[http://calibre-ebook.com])
/Title(þy Too Much and Never Enough)
>>
endobj

You have to rename the file and put '.pdf' at the end.

Thanks for the info, Mr. Big Brain! I renamed it with .pdf at the end, and
changed the T file tab to All Files and it worked great.

I have had Adobe for years, and it worked just fine on the John Bolton book.
I had to rename it and add the .pdf before I downloaded, and not after it
was downloaded as a T File.

We need to put an end to this muzzie plague, or life on Earth is going to become pure hell everywhere. We need to get these people out of every civilized country, and there's only one way to do it. IOW, we have to become like them, with an emphasis on expediency over cruelty." - Checkmate (of alt.checkmate)

Speaking of Windows 10 bullshit, I've been frustrated
when it comes to adjusting the system speakers volume
due to the fact that the speaker icon on the Taskbar did
nothing when clicked or right clicked.

So I Googled it and found a whole slew of "fixes"
one of which was opening Task Manager, scrolling
down to "Windows Explorer" and right clicking it
and choosing "Restart".

Then the Taskbar will flash, all the task bar icons
will disappear, then reappear and, VOILA, clicking
on the speaker icon yields a pop-up slider bar for
volume.

Thank me!
