my local tv showed this tv-movie last night and i was wondering if this was
based on any book or it's just a screenplay by king? cannot seem to find
more details about the movie. any site?

SLEEPWALKERS was not a tv-movie, instead it was a theatrical release written by
Stephen King in 1992. It is not based on any book or story of his and should
be considered an original idea for the screen.
