That is flatly untrue.

Tague testified that it was the *second* shot he heard, that caused his
minor wound. And surprise, surprise, the 285 shot was the second audible
shot that day.

The large consensus of the witnesses only heard *ONE* shot prior to the
very end of the attack.

That is also true of *ALL* the surviving limo passengers. No exceptions.
YOU NEED TO WRAP YOUR HEAD AROUND THAT *FACT*. It is crucial to an
understanding of the attack.

The 285 shot missed JFK and went on to shatter on the pavement (or
concrete), sending a piece of lead to smear on the Main St. curbing and
a tiny piece of debris to nick Tague's cheek.

Consider Posner's "theory". Oswald fired a bullet which struck a tree
branch and sent a piece of lead to strike the pavement near the limo,
causing sparks to fly upward.

Meanwhile, another piece flew 400 feet to strike the Main St curbing and
from there, yet another piece flew back to hit Tague, nicking his cheek.

I would love to take credit for this discovery, but Dr. Michael
Stroscio, the other great, award winning physicist (Yale, Phd, beat me
to it.

"..it may be that the jerking episode starting at frame 290 is
associated with the bullet which caused the fragment that struck James
Tague in the cheek. In fact, since James Tague was standing near the
triple underpass on the west side of Dealey Plaza, it is certain that he
was struck by an object traveling west on Elm Street."

It is a virtual certainty that the 285 shot hit no one in the limo. It
is a *perfect* explanation for Tague's wound.

Wasn't it the Commerce Street curbing?

Please show your proof of the ricochet that caused the Tague cheek
injury.

There was (and is) a small concrete divider betweeen Main an Commerce.
The smear was on the Main St. side.
