When I try to install the Alt-F packages, I get the following error:

I can't see nothing wrong with your settings.

The name servers are OK, probably is the gateway that is not well configured.
Is 192.168.1.1 the IP or your router?
Can you ping 192.168.1.1 from the box?
Can you ping and external IP such as 213.30.5.32? (the output of 'nslookup google.com' on my system)

If you don't know all the networking details you can try using the DHCP method from Setup->Host, if you router has a DHCP server (most has) but the box IP will probably change after Submitting.

Sorry to rekindle an old topic...my nameserver is also the same as th OP's.  All the pings to external names and IPs work fine. But when I run the Alt F packages, I get

It's a SourceForge problem from yesterday. Packages are offline for the moment...

Same problem week later.  I can go to http://sourceforge.net/projects/alt-f/files/pkgs/stable and see the files are there. I can ping sourceforge.net from the command line so I am pretty sure there is not a network issue with Alt-f.

I see that there has been a huge "storage fault" at Slashdot. Looks like a nightmare for them. We will just have to be patient it seems.

"On 7/16, Slashdot Media sites (including Slashdot and SourceForge) experienced a storage fault."

Progress updates can be found here.

What version of Alt-F are you using?  Latest is RC4.1, upgrade to it. dl.dropbox.com is not used since 2012...

Need box model/hw rev, logs (system configuration log), ... read this forum welcome message.

What does the command 'nslookup sourceforge.net' prints when using the command line?

I'm puzzled... everything on your system looks OK. Everything else is working, or are there other strange things happening?
Have you already rebooted the box?
Can you transfer files to/from the box within your internal network?

Does 'wget' works, when given an IP instead of a name? Try

OK, so networking is working to the outside world
but resolving hostnames is not.
It can be your router or ISP nameserver that sends some unexpected response, or some Alt-F misconfigured file.

Let's try first another nameserver (google public name server). Try

nslookup sourceforge.net 8.8.8.8

Also get a segmentation fault? Please post the command full output.

If you also got a seg. fault, please attach (not inline) the contents of /etc/resolv.conf and /etc/hosts. Those are the only two files that 'nslookup' reads. I expect them to be OK, as at first your router is contacted and its IP and name returned:

[root@NAS]# nslookup sourceforge.net
Server:    192.168.1.1
Address 1: 192.168.1.1 my.router

If you don't got a seg. fault, but something like:

[root@dns-320l]# nslookup sourceforge.net 8.8.8.8
Server:    8.8.8.8

Name:      sourceforge.net
Address 1: 216.34.181.60 ch3.sourceforge.net

then the issue is your router or ISP (or busybox Alt-F). Go to Setup->Host and fill in '8.8.8.8' as the "Name server 1" and submit.

Resolving sourceforge.net... Segmentation fault
[root@NAS]# cd/tmp
-sh: cd/tmp: not found
[root@NAS]# cd /tmp
[root@NAS]# ls
alt-f.log db log sys
board ipkg_0.99.163-3_arm.ipk run
cache lib settings_saved
cookie lock spool

Once the box wrote this error:

Installing Alt-F in /mnt/Main
Installing ipkg
ar: short read
tar: can't open 'control.tar.gz': No such file or directory
awk: control: No such file or directory
Downloaded wrong package?

The wget command has partially downloaded a file that the Alt-F package manager tries to use. Remove it by using the command
rm /tmp/ipkg_0.99.163-3_arm.ipk

So may be i do some thing wrong then i install alt-f or setup it?

I don't think so, the first login wizard its pretty easy to follow, although I noticed that you have not followed it completely, as you have no timezone (country/city) setup. Have you skip it?

Sorry, I don't understand. Have you rebooted it or have you not?

Yes, i`v rebooted it.

nslookup sourceforge.net 8.8.8.8

then the issue is your router or ISP (or busybox Alt-F). Go to Setup->Host and fill in '8.8.8.8' as the "Name server 1" and submit.

Alt-F package intalled. So i think the problem with setup of my router?

No, i didn`t skip it. There are some problem with time is our time zone? but that because we don`t have summer or winter time shift.

Anyway, thank u for help!

I don't think so,

Probably it was not your own fault when you setup the router, after all your other computers are working OK, right?
The router itself  seems to supply DNS info in a way that Alt-F (busybox) can't handle. When Alt-F started using a Google name server instead of your router name server all went OK.
