Hi,

I understand that this is an open source project, but it has valuable commercial uses and it seems the license allows for them.

In that regard, I am wondering about:
  1. Known business build on top of or using AllOurIdeas?
  2. People who might be a good fit to join me for such a project?  I realize that I'm taking a shot in the dark, but I believe in giving serendipity a chance.  Plus this list is the best place I could think of to inquire.  If you have suggestions for other/better places, please let me know.  Thank you.
Cheers,
Chris

PS: As mentioned in #2, above, the reason I am asking is that I am exploring the idea of creating a commercial pairwise-voting type website (MVP).  In that regard, if I did that, I'd need a technical partner, as my background is venture capital, business development, marketing, sales, content creation, PR, events, and conferences.  Those kinds of skills would be helpful with the project.  I would also provide seed capital.  While business is my strong side, I am also conversant and lightly experienced with software architecture, programming, design, development, project management, Scrum, and distributed teams.  How/why?  Because I'm interested in such things and because I've studied Software Engineering for two years and have also been involved in my own startup projects, and projects for others.  Lastly, for anyone who has read this far, the working project name idea is PairwiseVoting.com.  The vision for the site is for it be the home of the app and become a hub (eventually "the" hub) of information and discussion about pairwise voting and related topics.

Hi Chris,

We're using AOI in an app for business and community development. We had paired comparison decision-making as a core part of our app, but incorporating AOI freed us up a bit. I'd be interested in hearing your ideas. We arent looking for venture capitalists but that's not to say that there isnt an opportunity for collaboration.

Hi Marco,

Thanks for the message.  I will reply directly to you instead of the list.  That said, if anyone else on the lists wants to chat, please feel free to contact me at any time.

Thanks,
Chris

PS: Best wishes for resolving the HTTP/HTTPS issue you are working on :)
