ALFRESCO RUNNING OCR ON PDF DOCUMENTS

Good day Guys,

I would please like to find out if Alfresco runs OCR on scanned PDF documents when they have been uploaded or during the upload, making the text searchable.

No, Alfresco doesn't include any OCR engine.

There are some addons ready to use here:

• https://github.com/bchevallereau/alfresco-tesseract

But you can easily integrate any OCR engine, for example Tesseract:
