Removing Alfresco community logo and wordings at the footer of the Aikau page

Good day Guys,

I have removed the Alfresco community footer logo and wordings on Alfresco community 5.0d but anytime i run an advanced search it takes me to the Aikau page and the footer logo and wordings showing Alfresco community still appear on the page.

Does anybody have an idea of how i can remove the alfresco community logo and wordings at the footer of the Aikau page.

Hi Ejike - 

It is pretty straightforward to change the header and footer in Aikau. There is an example of how to change the header here:

Changing the footer is very similar - you just use different page tags. In addition, I might suggest having a look through this session that was led by Dave Draper, one of the original authors or Aikau:

He talks about how the Aikau pages are defined. There is a mechanism to remove both the header and the footer through the page URL as well, but it sounds more like you want to keep the header.

Thanks for your reply but the below is my challange:

A simple and effective way to customize the Share header, and other parts of the Share UI that uses Aikau widgets, is to follow these steps:

1. Enable Aikau Debug mode so you can inspect Aikau pages and widgets
2. Identify what Aikau widgets that are used to produce the content that should be customized (i.e. the Share Header)
3. Find out what CSS files that are used by the relevant widgets
4. Inspect the CSS files and find out what LESS variables you can work with
5. Override an out-of-the-box Theme, or create a custom Theme, by redefining one or more LESS variables

How do i go about these? Please assist if you can.

Hi All,

Please i would like support on how to remove the Alfresco community footer logo on the Aikau pages (I see this when i go to search manager).

If any one has a script already prepared and the process on how to do run the script, i would really appreciate it because i do not want the footer logo and content showing for my clients to see.
