SAVE DOCUMENTS TO ALFRESCO COMMUNITY DIRECTLY FROM EMAIL

Good day Guys,

Please is it possible to save documents to Alfresco Community directly from email, if it is can someone guide me on how to do it?

It was possible using Alfresco explorer but with this new Alfresco share i can't seem to save documents to Alfresco directly from email.

When you say email ... I understand is some email client like outlook,thunderbird. Right?

Yes you can do that but its not available out of the box.

It sounds like you want to save documents to Alfresco from an email client, so the links Francesco and Sujay provided should be relevant.

But, I also wanted to mention that you can also email documents to Alfresco if you have configured the SMTP listener.

Hi Jeff,

What i am talking about specifically is that, there are documents that come attached to an/your email (PDF Documents/word/excel). Is there any way one can save those attachments directly to Alfresco? without having to download them and log in to Alfresco to upload them.
