Hello
I want to ask about how to know the area and the remainder of the stored database alfresco
The second question
For rules on folders should run it all over again the sense that you set up base between folders to transfer all of the items when the update .. Do be processed Qaeda one, and must be operated after each update .. or to stay effective and always how it's done ..
As well as how you can edit metadata fields for records management.
How to connect with the Office alfresco x optical scanner
thank you very much

Hello.

For the first question, about the "area", you can check that by looking at the alfresco-global.properties.
You will find the exactly folder in the property dir.root, something like
dir.root=/opt/alfresco/alf_data

I couldn't understand the second question.

About the edit metadata for records management, what exactly do you mean by that?
Doesn't the edit metadata action work?

In order to connect with Office, you have to use the module AOS, described here http://docs.alfresco.com/5.1/concepts/aos-intro.html

What is the optical scanner you mentioned? Scanner, the device, or the OCR process?
