Anyone know how I can fix this error channel manager: channelAdmin.template.error

That's too little details to comment.

Are you experiencing the same issue as in this JIRA - https://issues.alfresco.com/jira/browse/MNT-10115

If yes, there is a fix in 4.2.1 for that.
