Validate presence of EssenceVideo in AlchemyRichmediaEssences project

Hello! 

Could anyone help me with adding presence validation for EssenceVideo?

 

I have an element (a blog post), which contains of title, date and video file. For 'video file' I use EssenceVideo. I want to prevent saving this post with the empty EssenceVideo.  

I've tried:

  - name: post_video

    type: EssenceVideo

    validate: [presence]

for the corresponding essence, but that didn't help. The post saves perfectly with the empty EssenceVideo. Any ideas?

P.S. I know, that https://github.com/magiclabs/alchemy-richmedia-essences is not maintainable, but any help will be appreciated.
