Use Pictures from Library in own Module

Hey guys,

I'm trying to find a way to setup a module, where you can add items to a category. Each item and each category should be able to have pictures. I don't want to use another way of uploading pictures, because the way alchemy does this is really nice. So is there any nice way of getting the library pictures into my module?

I am looking for such solution also.
