EssenceSelect with autocomplete

Hello,

is it possible to use EssenceSelect with autocomplete in element_editor?

We have an element to show data from a datatable with huge amount of data and have to choose one record.

I would recommend to write your own Essence for this.

Alchemy brings the select2 JS library and they support loading data remotely.

So your custom essence editor partial should then use the remote data loading from select2.
