All, just wanted to let you know this is coming up on April 6th and 7th. Check it out if you can about cyber security and privacy:

CYBERSECURITY & PRIVACY AWARENESS DAY 2016 is designed to engage and educate the public about cybersecurity and privacy. This year our theme is:

CYBERSAFETY FOR EVERYONE

At this event you will learn how to be safe online and exercise responsible behavior, and how to increase awareness and resiliency in the event of a cyber incident. On this day, attendees will hear from leaders in cybersecurity from Northeast Ohio and across the country who will speak on very important topics understandable to anyone regardless of your technical background or expertise.

Our guest speakers will be:

Kevin Goodman, Managing Director and Partner with BlueBridge Networks, a downtown Cleveland-based data-center business, will speak on THE CLOUD AND PRIVACY, is your private data safe in "The Cloud"?

Jeremy Mio, Security and Research Manager from the Cuyahoga County Department of Information Technology Security and Research Team, dedicated to providing technology, policies, standards, information, research and solutions to ensure the privacy and information security for any and all Cuyahoga County agencies, will speak on the STOP. THINK. CONNECT campaign. Stop.Think.Connect. is a national public awareness campaign conducted by the Department of Homeland Security in cooperation with the National Cyber Security Alliance.

George Nazarey, Consulting System Engineer from Fire Eye, a network security company that provides automated threat forensics and dynamic malware protection against advanced cyber threats, such as advanced persistent threats and spear phishing, will speak about THE THREATS IN CYBER SPACE.
