By no means complete, here is a rough outline of ideas to for meeting topics.
Might want to limit the time for a presentation to a half hour, then we could have two short topics per meeting.
Some of the topics  mentioned below could be combined.
Feel free to add to this

Thanks Carl, that's a great list of topics.

I know we have done many of them on the server side over the years. You also have many more i have not thought about.

We have done a lot of security and shell scripting the last year but have not touched on emulators, Desktops, Utilities, and many other items you have listed.

I think we can start by hitting more desktop topics like emulators (Wine configurations) and Office Suits with with people in the group.

Now for the trick,  Lets get some speakers..!
Anyone want to show off some simple desktop apps for 1/2 Hour ?

Lets get some comments and feedback.

Meeting topic.
Hi all you ALUG members..
The April 7th meeting is coming up quick.
We need a presentation and have a long list of things that have not been covered in a long time.
If anyone can cover desktop applications or desk environments or any distribution you may like, please speak up and let us know.
This is your club and I would be nice to have a few talks about what you like.
Thanks.
Rick..
