Last month we saw ways to use shell to calculate just about anything you could imagine. This Thursday Ed Smeltz will be sharing ways to use shell to manipulate text on the file, line, field, word, and character level. Can you imagine a manipulation you would like to do with text? We can probably do it with shell. Come see how.
