Word carefully when listing stuff for sale on line!

This guy paid about $30K in a judgement plus $12K in legal fees and years in court over a $40 used printer he sold on Craig's List.  The recipient sued, saying the printer was broken and missing parts.

The moral is that you better be prettycareful listing stuff on line and stipulate as-is where-is and that the photos are part of the description, no guarantee of functionality beyond the item occupying space!

Or, just don't sell stuff in the UK, those people are sticklers ;-)
