Tu quoque fallacy.

An argument about Apple's security or lack thereof is not a rebuttal nor relevant to the argument that M$ has had massive security holes for decades..

I think this goes the same with all large companies.  For security, every OS now is going to be at least over 1 million lines of code.  It is going to be some type of screw up in the code.  The thing is everyone wants to speculate Big Brother puts that into the code, though most of the cases that isn't true.  If anything NSA has much more ties with Linux then any other OS.  Privacy is the same thing, you become such a big company you are able to feel over empowered to everyone else.  That is just human philosophy 101.  Why Google is the new Apple, while Apple is the new Microsoft, while Microsoft is the new IBM....etc
