java.lang.VerifyError after shading with sbt-assembly

Hi,

We(Gearpump) are recently seeing java.lang.VerifyError after shading with sbt-assembly as in https://github.com/akka/akka/issues/21596

Here is the link for our build file and we are using sbt-assembly 0.14.3 with Akka 2.4.16.

Seems like others have similar issues with sbt-assembly, but I couldn't find any solutions. Google for: VerifyError "Inconsistent stackmap frames" sbt-assembly

Yes, this seems to be a bug in sbt-assembly which gets triggered if you use shading. See https://github.com/sbt/sbt-assembly/issues/205
