Hi,

I bought two AQE units Version 2 recently.

Unfortunately, both the units are not going to operational mode for some unknown reason.

It is showing "CONFIG INTEGRITY CHECK FAILED". Please help in resolving this.

The error is as below:

Info: Startup config integrity check passed, but mirrored config differs, attempting to restore from mirrored configuration.
Error: Mirrored configuration is not valid, cannot restore to last valid configuration.
Info: Config memory integrity check failed, automatically falling back to CONFIG mode.

Rahul,

Don't worry about that message, we changed it in 2.0.2 software. You should be able to just type in your SSID and password in the serial terminal (e.g. at the bottom of the page at airqualityegg.com) and type exit and it should work normally after that.

Regards,
Vic

Hi Victor,

Yes. Typed exit, then it's showing the error and going back to config mode.

Even the LCD screen is showing "Config Integrity Check Failed". Also I'm not getting the feed in airqualityegg.com/egg/237851396

Regards
Rahul

Rahul,

That sounds pretty strange. Since I haven't heard this experience from any other users so far, please can we pick this up via support AT wickeddevice DOT com and we'll get it figured out.

Kind Regards,
Vic

Hey all.

If you've got an Egg and it's not associating with your Wi-Fi network, you may need to set the security mode explicitly along with your ssid and password. Read on for details.

Via support we discovered a problem resolution that I wanted to share with the group in case there are others out there who are affected. By default the Egg tries to automatically detect the security mode via scanning the network. The Egg only supports WEP, WPA-Personal, WPA2-Personal, and Open security modes. You can explicitly set the mode of the network you are trying to connect to at the AQE>: prompt by typing 'security wpa2' for example. Type 'help security' for all the options and enter the one that is correct for your network. So if you've got an Egg and it's not associating with your network, you may need to set the security mode explicitly along with your ssid and password.

Kind Regards,
Vic
