Measuring a modified Shinyei PPD42NS

Hi all,
After adding a fan to the Shinyei PPD60PV-T2 and measuring it, I have been playing with the much less expensive PPD42NS in trying to increase its response (i.e. reduce the zeros) in a short time interval of 1 minute.
In doing so I learnt that there are not any real "channels" for this device. In fact I modified the device to change the 2.5um "channel" to be more sensitive. I just posted my results on my blog at:
