What is "ad content" in simple words? and API to get that?

What is "ad content" field refer/means? or what type of data it contains?

Also, which report helps me to download "ad content" field reports/data/stats?

I have no idea or context of ad content

Hi Pramod,

The AdWords API currently does not have an "Ad Content" field that it supports. You may find in this documentation all available fields that are currently supported. This said, could you provide more information such as the a screenshot or documentation where you saw the "Ad Content" field so I can verify if it is indeed available or unavailable via the AdWords API?

I saw a field mkt_content field along with mkt_source,medium and term and etc so on... Sorry I don't have much context of it

For your reference, all current supported report fields can be found here and the fields that can be selected using the services can be found via this link.

Hi,

the "Ad Content" column in Google Analytics contains the "first line of the ad" as per the documentation. In practice, for an ETA it would be the Headline 1 field, whereas a Display Ad would show its Name field.

Hi dorian, Thank you so much for your response. Just one question that, sometime I see Headline 1 field empty.  Can you please suggest to select which field? in case of headline 1 is empty

If you're talking about the Ad Perfomance Report, then you'd be looking for the ImageCreativeName attribute.
