Expanded ads reporting support?

Hi all,

I wanted to know what is the schedule for getting Expanded ads available in the Ad Performance report. 

At the moment Expanded ads stats appear in the reports with ad type as Extended ad but the headline and decription lines are empty.

Do you know when this will be updated?

Hi Stephen,

Expanded Text Ads are included in the Ad Performance Report. The HeadlinePart1, HeadlinePart2, Description, Path1 and Path2 fields have been made available for Expanded Test Ads. The Headline, Description1 and Description2 fields correspond to Text Ads and will not be populated for Expanded Text Ads.

Hi Shwetha,

I have a similar problem.

As I try to make a report I get the following error message: "Column 'HeadlinePart1' is not valid for report type AD_PERFORMANCE_REPORT. Double-check your SELECT clause. (line 2)".

Do you have any idea, why it doesn't function?

Hi Andras,

The HeadlinePart1 field is associated with Expanded Text Ads which were made available in API version v201605. If you are using this field in a report query in older API versions, you'll encounter an error. If you are using the newer API versions (v201605 and v201607) and still get this error, please provide the complete report definition so I can further investigate.
