New Google Shopping Performance Report - How to get product title

Working with the new SHOPPING_PERFORMANCE_REPORT and trying to get the title of the product.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Jeremy,

The performance report itself only contains the Merchant Center fields that can be used in product partitions, and title is not one of them.

If you have access to the Merchant Center account then you can get the full details of a product programmatically using the Content API for Shopping. The identifier for a product in the Content API is made up of the channel, content language, target country, and offer ID. The language, country and offer ID are the LanguageCriteriaId, CountryCriteriaId and OfferId fields in the report, respectively.

The data shows in up in Adwords Reports (http://grab.by/vXXc), but what you're saying is that it's not accessible there through any report in Adwords API, I need to go to the Content Shopping API?

Hi,

We have the same issue. It seems strange that the information which is visible in AdWords is not available/accessible through the reports or API. To show information which is visible in the AdWords interface we need to access a whole new API.

Is there no possibility to put the shopping product name (just like the id) in the reporting API?

I have asked the engineering team to include the title in the report, but I can't comment on when or if such a change would actually happen.

Sorry for re-opening an old topic, but has there been any development about including the product title in the Shopping Performance Report?

Or do we still have to use a separate API just to get the product name?

I have another questions while on this subject: is the ItemID we are getting from the Shopping Performance Report the same as the ID in the feed we registered in the Merchant Center?

(just to make sure we are actually using the correct ID)

Unfortunately, we still can't get the product title from Shopping Performance Report. Please keep an eye on our blog for updates and announcements.

Yes, the offerId/ItemId in Shopping Performance Report is the id attribute within the data-feed in your Merchant Center.
