As has been the case since its very beginning in 1985, the nonprofit Farm Aid organization’s annual schedule is built around a mega-star fundraising concert held in a different city every year. But when it came to Chicago for its milestone 30th anniversary concert recently, Farm Aid also presented events that provided history and deep perspective on the farm crisis of the 1980s, which gravely threatened tens of thousands of family farmers, and spurred the organization’s creation. Please read about it on FamilyFarmed's Good Food on Every Table website.

FamilyFarmed also published two photo essays from Farm Aid: one of the concert itself (http://goodfoodoneverytable.org/2015/09/21/the-stars-came-out-for-family-farmers-at-farm-aid-30-photos/) and another on the daytime public engagement and information events at the concert site in which FamilyFarmed participated (http://goodfoodoneverytable.org/2015/09/20/photos-from-farm-aid-2015-show-the-event-is-about-the-movement-and-the-music/). Please take a look and share.

Thanks, and have a great week!
