March 10 & 11: MWUF Summit

Hello!

The surveys have been tallied and we have decided to host the summit on Saturday, March 10 and Sunday, March 11 at The Plant in Chicago!

This Summit is shaping up to be the most exciting one yet.  On top of the great workshops, roundtable discussions, and presentations, we will also be hosting:

-- a RESOURCE FAIR where you can get legal and business advice in person from experts

-- a TOOL SHOW: bring your favorite farm tool to share at our tool show. (I’m going to bring our production notebook!)

-- a number of INTERACTIVE INSTALLATIONS that will help you connect with, learn from, and educate other urban farmers from around the region

-- a FARMER TALENT SHOW and PARTY on Saturday night

If you haven’t already, please fill out our Interest Survey, so that we know what people want to learn about.  And if you want to present, please fill out our Call For Presentations Survey.

As always, there will be no fee to attend the summit, but we ask for donations based on a sliding-scale. No one is ever turned away for lack of funds.

Also, we work really hard to secure food and coffee donations so that everyone can can eat and stay caffeinated all day long!
