In case you didn't see this notice from Alan Shannon at USDA, I want to make sure you see it:

"Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP), by the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is sponsoring an Illinois pilot project to examine urban agriculture’s effects on natural habitats and water quality. The program will provide financial and technical assistance. Eligible projects may include cover cropping, pollinator work, air quality, organic systems, and/or hoophouses/high tunnels. Eligible projects should be located in McHenry, Lake, Kane DuPage, Cook, Will, Kankakee, Grundy and Kendall counties. Historically underserved producers may be eligible for higher payment rates. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with Feb 19 and March 18, 2016 deadlines. For more information, contactjames....@il.usdsa.gov or visit the EQIP webpage."
