Hello AUA community,
Chicago Lights Urban Farm will have its annual spring plant sale May 16th from 10 am-3 pm at 444 W. Chicago Ave.
Plants appearing will include lettuce, kale, chard, collards, onions, leeks, tomatoes-cherry and larger--, peppers, eggplant, cucumbers, melons, squash, basil, cilantro, parsley, mint, chives, kohlrabi, okra, cabbage, nasturtiums, zinnias, alyssum, poppies, lobelia, and more.
There will also be a free 45 minute workshop at 1:15 p.m. entitled:
Using your Space Wisely:
Learn through a hands-on demonstration how to maximize space and yields in your vegetable garden for a variety of crops. Participants will help plant a 6 foot by 3 foot vegetable garden.
