I have to confess I was never a big fun of technical trainings. I always thought I can start with a new technology by myself simply by following few tutorials, then do some simple experiments.  It took me a while to realize that a training is not about creating simple applications under supervision. Having an experimented trainer in front of you gives you the opportunity to squeeze the most out of it by asking the questions relevant to your business cases.

This week, during Fusion Middleware Partner Community Forum in Budapest  some of our devs  attended  Mobile Application Framework Training, having Grant Ronald, Frank Nimphius and Mireille Duroussaux as trainers.  These guys did a great job in presenting MAF from an ADF developer perspective, with similarities in development process, but emphasizing a different thinking that client-side development requires. They handled heroically the avalanche of questions thrown to them and I can honestly say these 2 days of training saved me at least 3 months of experiments with MAF design, architecture and performance tuning.  I cannot ask for a better deal.

Hi,

Its great to hear from florin.

We also have some developers who are eager to learn MAF. Also we have developed few ADF applications under the guidelines provided by Grant Ronald,Frank Nimphius. Is there any opportunity for these guys to have a training sessions at India,Tamil Nadu, Chennai Location. I request to arrange some sessions in chennai since there are many developers who cannot travel and also eager to learn MAF.

I'm always keen to deliver training where there is demand, and in the infrastructure of some kind of event in which we deliver the training.  So if either of those situations arise we can certainly do something - that said, the challenges of travel, budget, locations etc etc were the very reason we've chosen to make YouTube (and our Developer Academy)  our primary channels for MAF enablement.
We intend to follow a similar model with our mobile cloud offering when that becomes available as well.
regards
