Better redis config

• Fixes an issue where we would create many connections to redis at boot.

v14.0.1 has been REMOVED from npm; v14.0.2 succeeds it and fixes this problem in a much better way.  

I did not increase the major version (to v15) as while this does change the config options meaningfully, it is a reactionary bug fix to something what was released less than 24 hours ago.
