Subject: [BAKKAH] 15 False Narrations about 'Imaamahs (Turbans)
To: BAKK...@yahoogroups.com

As-Salaam 'alaykum...

A response to the confused turban enthusiasts who lie upon the Messenger of Allaah (may Allaah raise his rank and grant him peace):

15 False Narrations about Turbans ('Imaamahs)

Including whoppers like:

  • "Turbans are the marks of the Angels" [!]
  • "Jumu'ah with a turban is equal to 70 Jumu'ahs without one" [!]
  • "Prayer with a turban is worth 10,000 good deeds" [!]
  • "Turbans are the crowns of the Muslims" [!]
  • "Turbans are barriers between faith and disbelief" [!]

Including responses to doubts like:

  • "Turbans are Sunnah, as found in Saheeh al-Bukhaaree..."
  • "The scholars recommend wearing turbans..."
  • "Some of these narrations have been called authentic..."
  • "It is allowed to act upon weak hadeeths..."

Its not enough to love the Sunnah and want to follow it. You must LEARN it, as knowledge precedes statements and actions.

Be warned against attributing things to the Messenger of Allaah (may Allaah raise his rank and grant him peace) which he did not say or do, lest you land in the Hellfire after only intending to spread good. May Allaah grant us all success in properly representing the Sunnah of our Messenger (may Allaah raise his rank and grant him peace).

****************
"What is done solely for Allaah remains"
- Imaam Maalik (may Allaah have Mercy on him)

The truth is a clear path of honesty, good and wholesome throughout.
Whoever believes that trickery and deception can aid the truth is concealing a rotten and corrupt heart.
There is no escape from the people's plots and plans and widespread corruption, and no refuge anywhere...
except by fleeing to Allaah alone, the Mighty and Majestic.
