wow!? what? if you have an ethernet cord...why don't you just connect it to your router/modem or whatever and that will for sure connect your 360 to the internet. if your trying to express how you can connect it wirelessly with out blowing 100 big-ones on the Microsoft's  very overpriced wifi 360 adapter then...well i cant help you. that would take some serious hacking that would not be worth it, when you can just get a really long ethernet cable! I don't know if i helped any but good luck to you on your quest?

Yes. I assume you don't have a modem/router near your system and as a result you want to share your PC's wireless connection with you xbox.

This IS possible. Under your network connections you have to enable internet sharing. To do this, right click on your wireless network card under network settings, go to properties, click the advance tab and check the box that enables other systems to share it's connection.

Simple as that. Send me a note if you need a more detailed step by step walk through.

i see what ur saying, but id rather buy a really long ethernet cord instead of an overpriced wirless adapter. connection speed would be faster and more constant. but apparently its possible. good news for "LIAMXBOX"

He's not buying a wireless adaptor...he's using an exiting one. There will possibly be some latency issues depending on the game. Wireless is a lot better these days though so it should be fine. Also depends on current connection speeds on that PC he will be sharing the connection from. I also recommend not running other apps or web use on that system while gaming is being done on the xbox.

Yeah but the 360 doesnt have built in wifi...so is this some after market adapter that the 360 is using to connect to the net? you gotta buy some kinda adapter for the 360 to utilize the connecting sharing...

That wasn't his question. You're getting off topic. He is asking about internet sharing through his PC...he said nothing about an adaptor for his 360
