[VGLUG] How to configure VIP in linux

Hi,

I want to do clustering with nginx in Centos 6. Now can anybody guide me that how to set single Virtual IP on two linux Machine.

This link is really useful. now can you guide me that how to set same Virtual IP (VIP) on two linux machine. Because I have two linux PC, in which Centos 6 is installed. Now I want to configure Clustering So If my one PC goes down then my website will be live thought that second PC which is having same Virtual IP.

Hi.

You will have to configure your HA, and in that the high available ip will move from one system to another if any one system goes down.

You dont need to set ip on each system,

You will need to set some configuration in nginx.

Hope this will help you to configure cluster.

You can setup pacemaker with corosync to setup HA.
