Blocking Time in Net Tab in developer tool

Hi,

Is there any way that i can reduce the blocking time when i am executing my link in firefox??
I am using firebug to find this time and increase the performance. I am attaching the screenshot for it too.

You should ideally try to reduce total requests. As this blocking time seems to be from browser limitations itself.

By executing your link I assume you meant firing a HTTP GET on some URL. You have great flexibility via curl

curl has

--limit-rate

to throttle your IO rate.
