Hi,
my Pyscripter looks like shown on bottom.
I can't find the way out of this situation
tried - full sized window,  - lower/higher desktop resolution, - to pick hidden views in edges of the current view.
- uninstall / install pyscripter (incl. clean up registry)
All operations are in vain
I'm helpless  & dissatisfied !

Has anyone an idea to solve the problem ?

Thanks, Lothar

It looks like the pyscripter.ini file may be corrupted.

Pyscripter will search first in the exe directory, then %USERPROFILE%\Application Data (for compatibility purposes) and
if it doesn't find an ini file it will create one in %USERPROFILE%\Application Data\PyScripter\.

Try looking for pyscripter.ini in those places and get rid of them (or at least rename them to something else so pyscripter won't find them).  Then you should end up back to a default configuration when Pyscripter creates a new pyscripter.ini file.

I've experimented this a few times, especially after a crash.

I suggest you create a .bat files to launch PyScripter, or several for each version of python or per project.

In the batch file, create a backup of the .ini files before calling PyScripter.

Then, it won't hurt to save the workspace state (under menu project) from time to time.
I say workspace because I tend to open files not related to a specific project, and the concept of workspace does not exist in the software.
So, for a given project, you may end up with at least 2 projects files: one strictly related to the project, and one related to the work in progress.
