Hi Pyscripter,

I am experiencing this problem on Windows 7 SP1 64 bits as well as Windows XP SP3 32 bits.

Is there any chance of getting a rolling update for these versions?

Also is there any chance to get support for Python 3.5.x. As it actually having awesome feature but I have only
downgraded to 3.4.x because of Pyscripter.

Hope you will look into this,

    Thanks !

Windows 7 Enterprise SP1, 64 bit.
Python 2.7.11 64 bit

Pyscripter 64 bit isn't working for me either.  Tried 2.6.0 and 2.5.3.

Just a data point:

    Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit + PyScripter 2.6.0.0 (x86) + Python 2.7.10 (32 bit) works fine.
    Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit + PyScripter 2.5.3.0 (x64) + Python 3.2.3  (64 bit) works fine.

These combos chosen to maximize compatibility.

YMMV,

Just upgraded my 64-bit environment to PyScripter 2.6.0.0 and Python 3.4.3, which is about as close as I chose to get to the edge for production work and can report that:

    Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit + PyScripter 2.6.0.0 (x64) + Python 3.4.3 (64 bit) works fine.

me too. I upgraded Python to 2.7.11 (mapscripter requires 2.7.11), and now pyscripter  crashes on launch.

Windows 7 Home 64-bit and Python 2.7.11 32-bit, pyscripter just didn't start, no error messages.

Found out that pyscripter tries to access these registry paths:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Python\PythonCore\2.7
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Python\PythonCore\2.7-32

So I created a copy of 2.7 to 2.7-32 (renaming 2.7 to 2.7-32 didn't work, it had to be copied) and now it started up.

I'm using Win 7 SP1 and just adding the keys above (with the corrected paths for your installation) will work. Started up and it selects 2.7.11. Selected Remote Engine and 2.7.11 Remote is active.
