Just a quick guess. Is the domain shoestringwebs.com sending through
the outbound service of Postini? If so, I recall you need to modify/
create/delete your SPF (Sender Policy Frame)work record for Google to
verify the sender to the recipient on the domain verifyi9.com.

For example, the shoestringwebs.com SPF could look like this; "v=spf1
mx ip4:64.18.6.12 include:aspmx.googlemail.com ~all" This string lists
the IP address of the outbound IP of Postini, outbounds7.ga.obsmtp.com
and also of Google's included domain.

If you are not using the outbound gateway, then change the mx IP to
you servers IP.

Additional information about SPF can be found at http://www.openspf.org
and in the the Google Apps for Administrators portal, http://www.google.com/support/a/.

Hello,

I got a similar error with one of my client's websites. I use Google
Apps for
the email server. Some messages would be undeliverable and some were
OK.
Here's a copy of the error message:

Technical details of permanent failure:
PERM_FAILURE: SMTP Error (state 13): 550-Verification failed for
<client email address>
550-No such User Here
550 Sender verify failed

It turned out that even though I was not using the website email
server, I
still needed to set up the email account in the cpanel. The
instructions
in Google Apps does not include this important fact.

I hope this helps,

guitargirl

With Google Apps standard and Premier, both use the Gmail mail server
platform. With Premier in addition to the standard applications you
also have Postini's policy management and recovery service. Google
Apps for Administrators provides an extensive amount of information
for managing Google Apps.

The support site at https://www.google.com/support/a/ provides help
from getting started, domain basics, to managing the different
services, including Postini's policy management and recovery. As for
Postini's services, this takes an additional understanding of the
integration with Gmail and how users are managed.

Google Apps is the next generation up from basic Gmail and will take a
bit more understanding of how email services and DNS work. Once that
understanding is achieved, managing Google Apps will become much
easier.
