From the Telegraph of 14 January 2019: BULLEY Hugh Cyril Edmund died on 6th January 2020 aged 95. Naval Commander, Artist and Brother of the Artworkers' Guild. He will be sadly missed especially by his devoted wife Christiane, three daughters, son-in-law and grandson. Private funeral.

He was s of (John) Ivo BULLEY (1881-1956) by his 1919 m (reg Q3 Hampshire) to Margaret Rosamira MORGAN-BROWN (1887-1984). He m 1956 Jean (b 1932) d of Lyndon Roberts MILLER (1900-73) and Lady Beatrix Patricia de la Poer BERESFORD (1902-86), d of 6th Marquess of WATERFORD (1875-1911) and gd of 5th Marquess of LANSDOWNE (1845-1927) etc etc, and had three daus as above.

(John) Ivo Bulley of Overmarsh House, Ness, The Wirral, Cheshire, headmaster, St Edmund's Sch., Hindhead, Surrey 1933-52, previously a master there; his father-in-law, Cyril Morgan-Brown, his predecessor as headmaster, son of the school's founder.

J. I. Bulley 2nd s. of John Francis Bulley (1843-1897), educ. Magdalen Coll., Oxon. (B.A. 1864), barrister of the Inner Temple, on the Oxford circuit, joint author of 'Manual of Bankruptcy Law' and (m. 1871), Eleanor Anne, dau. of Rev. Frederick Forde, rector of Chester. J. F. Bulley elder s. of Francis Arthur Bulley (1808-1883), of 42, London Road, Reading, Berks., surgeon, F.R.C.S., and (m. 1840) Louisa (1815-1893), dau. of John Nash. Their eldest (of 4) dau. Mary Louisa m. 1868, Henry Atherton Adams, of Wynters Grange, Harlow, Essex, J.P., s. of Rev. F. L. Adams, rector of Shere, Surrey [see Walford's County Families 1883 etc].

F. A. Bulley 2nd s. of John Bulley (1775-1850) of St Lawrence, Reading, surgeon and Charlotte (1773-1850), dau. of Samuel Pocock, of Benham House, Berks. [possibly related to those baronets? No pedigree listed in BFI anyway] and his wife Catherine, sister of John Blagrave, of Calcot Park, Berks. [see BLG 1952]. The third son, Frederick Bulley (1811-1885), educ. Magdalen Coll., Oxon. (B.A. 1829, M.A. 1832, B.D. 1840, D.D. 1855) was president of Magdalen from 1855 to his death.
